We are thrilled to announce that Amita Chebbi has joined Evidence Action as global senior director, safe water. In this pivotal role, Amita will helm our Safe Water Now program, leading our game-changing efforts to save and improve lives by making water safe to drink for millions.
This appointment comes at a time of significant growth and momentum for the Safe Water Now program, as we’ve recently doubled our footprint in Africa and supported the launch of water treatment solutions in India – all while optimizing our existing interventions and developing new models to save thousands of lives each year.

Amita brings extensive experience in global development, with leadership positions at Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), Power of Nutrition, and most recently, the Asia Pacific Leaders Malaria Alliance. She is based in Singapore.
